THE NOMAD is a nonprofit literary magazine dedicated to writers, and to building a community enthralled by what can be conveyed through words.

We expect to publish two online editions and one print edition annually, and to nominate work for Pushcart Prizes, and other awards.

 

For our first issues, we invited writers to send us two pieces, a favorite published piece and a favorite that hadn't yet been published, along with their explanations of why they're favorite works.  

​

For 2025, we are seeking writing that engages with "breakthroughs," be they literal, spiritual, symbolic, personal, public, or something else.  If you'd like to participate, please send two pieces, a previously-published work and an unpublished piece, and include a short commentary for each about why or how these were breakthroughs, to nomadlitmag at gmail dot com, with a brief bio (ideally under 20 words) by April 30, 2025.   We thank you in advance!
